Adolescent Sexual Health Education

Purpose
  • Enhance and ensure that youth in Colorado have access to and receive comprehensive, culturally relevant, and high-quality sexual health education.
  • Ensure equity in the provision of standard, comprehensive evidence-based sex education curricula; 
  • Maintain staff and program capacity to provide sex education in physical/virtual settings (per the current COVID-19 environment); and 
  • Address the importance of anti-oppressive sex education and how it can facilitate protective factors for young people in Colorado.
